You're in safe hands with us!

September 27, 2023

We’re incredibly proud to announce that our SafeContractor* accreditation has recently been renewed for another year.

Being SafeContractor accredited is a massive deal for us.  But, even more importantly it shows our commercial customers that we are committed to your health and safety, demonstrates that our environmental policies and documentation are up to date, we offer equal opportunities for our workforce, and meet all recognised industry standards. This means that our customers will meet their corporate social responsibility obligations and can even help you comply with any insurance clauses.

Having accreditation gives you peace of mind that we are a professional capable supplier.

Why choose a SafeContactor approved supplier?

There are many reasons why you should only engage with SafeContractor accredited businesses, including:

  • They are a professional and credible supplier
  • Assures peace of mind that the business has the relevant paperwork in place to work on-site
  • Reassurance that their commitment to health and safety best practice is approved
  • They are ahead of the competition regarding tendering and innovation

As a supplier working on-site, legally we must be able to demonstrate that we have the skills, knowledge, experience, and capability to carry out work safely and without any risk to health.

As an accredited SafeContractor our paperwork shows we are a competent and compliant supplier so you can be confident that risks to your business are minimal, we are complying with our environmental obligations, and are financially secure.

The SafeContractor Accreditation Process

Becoming accredited as a SafeContractor follows a very detailed and rigorous assessment which is carried out annually.  There is an extensive list of core legal, health, and safety paperwork documents that are required from us, such as:

  • Health & Safety Policy
  • Risk Assessments
  • Method Statements
  • Trade Qualifications
  • Training Records
  • Insurances
  • Work Equipment
  • Maintenance Records
  • Construction Phase plan (if CDM applicable)
  • Workplace Inspections
  • Evidence of communication with staff on matters relating to health and safety

Once approved, SafeContractor delivered a SSIP** and PAS91*** aligned contractor accreditation to us, allowing us to demonstrate that we have met all of the necessary requirements around health and safety, equal opportunities, diversity, and environmental management practices.
